Response Models and Examinee Behavior: a Note on the Lack of CorrespondenceUniversity of Illinois Two basic assumptions made in personal probability testing procedures are reviewed. Some empirical examinee response data are examined and it is suggested that these assumptions should not be taken lightly in empirical studies of personal probability testing procedures.
