A Correction for Loading Bias in a Principal Components Analysis

The Bashaw and Anderson (1967) correction for replicated errors in correlation coefficients was applied to the principal components analysis. Notable changes were found in the components in terms of the loadings and subsequently in the percentage of variance accounted for.
