A Comment Concerning Levy's Procedure for Testing a Priori Trends in K Independent Correlations

The present note suggests that Levy's (1976) procedure for testing predicted trends in independent correlations should not produce grossly incorrect inferences wher one is dealing with the sorts of correlations which are ordinarily encountered in empirical research.
