Interpreting Significant Left-Tailed Analysis of Variance F-RatiosTexas A. & M. University It is argued that analysis of variance F-ratios which are significant in the left tail of the appropriate central F distribution should be interpreted as indicating some inadequacy in the analysis of variance model being used to represent the properties of the data. Procedures for testing left-tailed F-ratios are indicated.
