Test Pac: A Program for Comprehensive Item and Reliability Analysis

Richard M. Luecht

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee

This paper describes Test Pac, a test scoring and analysis computer program for moderate-sized sample designs using dichotomous response items. In addition to comprehensive item analyses and multiple reliability estimation, the program performs single-facet Generalizability analyses of variance components, and single-parameter IRT analyses, with respective, applicable parameter estimates. As a further educational resource, test score reporting, student performance tracking and computer-assisted grading capabilities are provided.
