Coefficients of Response Homogeneity and Congruence

Two coefficients (H and C) for evaluating the homogeneity or congruence of a set of n ratings or scores are described. Tests for determining the statistical significance of the coefficients in small and large samples are also provided. These procedures may be used to determine the consistency of measurements made of n persons or situations on one characteristic or the consistency of measurements made of one person or situation on n characteristics. A computer program is available for calculating the coefficients and evaluating their statistical significance for given data sets.
