Maximizing the Coefficient of Generalizability in Decision StudiesCalifornia State University at Fullerton
California State University at Fullerton This paper presents an efficient search procedure for determining the optimal number of observations of facets in a design that maximize generalizability when resource constraints are imposed. The procedure is illustrated for a three- and four-facet, fully crossed design, and extensions are presented for other design configurations.
