Spjøtvoll-Stoline-Like Pairwise Comparisons among Independent Product-Moment Correlations

Richard H. Williams

Department of Educational and Psychological Studies, University of Miami

An Applesoft BASIC computer program is described which enables the researcher to conduct pair wise multiple comparisons on a set of independent correlation coefficients. The statistical technique used is attributable to Levy (1977), and is a modification of the Spjøtvoll-Stoline method. Applications involving both equal and unequal sample sizes can be accommodated.
