The Similarities Subtest of the British Ability Scales: Construct and Content Bias for a Sample of Zimbabwe School Children

The study investigated the content and construct validity of the British Ability Scales Similarities Test for Black and White Zimbabwe primary school children. Drawn from the two cultural groups, 200 children took part in the study. The test seemed to be free of construct and content bias for both cultural groups. Implications for test applications in a multicultural context are discussed and suggestions for further research given.
