A Cross-Cultural Comparison of the Brown Locus of Control ScaleCalifornia State University, Sacramento
California State University at Fullerton Covariance modeling techniques were used to test the assumption of group invariance of the Brown Locus of Control Scale (BLOCS) by comparing results from two different populations; American and Kuwaiti adult women. Results provide support for the hypothesis that the validity of the locus of control construct could be generalized to different cultural groups with some caveats.
