Further Factorial Validity Assessment of Scores on the Quick Discrimination Index (Qdi)Seton Hall University
Fordham UniversityLincoln Center This study examined the factorial validity of scores on the Quick Discrimination Index (QDI) across three geographically dispersed samples. A multisample LISREL analysis, incorporating Bagozzi and Heathertons recommended aggregate procedure, indicated that the QDI three-factor oblique model was relatively stable across three geographically divergent samples. Coefficient alphas across factors and samples were satisfactory. The Lix Readability Index for the QDI items fell at the ninth-grade level.
